Revival revisted
It’s my favourite time of the year again, the beginning of Autumn! The evenings are starting to draw in and there is a slight chill in the air first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Not only is it the time to dig out your favourite knitwear and chunky boots in anticipation of cooler days but it also signifies an important event in the diary… the Revival at Goodwood.
In my eyes, the Revival and Christmas are on a level pegging! Not only is the Revival set in the most stunning countryside imaginable but if you haven’t been before be prepared for a complete sensory overload. The exciting sights, sounds and smells of the motor racing with vintage and classic cars, aviation displays, stylish fancy dress and period stalls and props make it a winning unique event. Take a nostalgic trip down memory lane and go back in time for a long weekend.
This year I am wearing a 1950’s navy dress with cream square spots teamed with a ’50s navy hat. I have dug out my trusty vintage mink fur stole and navy leather gloves. A string of pearls, pair of heels and a coat of red lipstick completes the look. Also, my daughter is wearing a vintage navy and cream striped smocked dress and is having fun posing in our giant vintage Millsons pram. Our ’60s landy provides the perfect back drop. If you haven’t made it to the Revival before make sure you put it in the diary for next year!
Hope to see you there! Toodle pip!
As ever,
Kisses, Julianna
